When you are moving, you have more important things to think about than cleaning. If you hire us for the move-out cleaning, you don't have to think about it at all.

When you move out of a home, you are usually required to do a move-out clean. It is an extensive and time-consuming job that requires knowing what needs to be done and how. Our staff have long experience of move-out cleaning and know exactly what it takes for the new owner or landlord to be satisfied.

If you or whoever takes over the home still has remarks about the cleaning, we come back and fix it – at no extra cost. That is what we call a satisfaction guarantee.

What the move-out cleaning includes

All rooms

Cleaning of all painted surfaces, including the gaps between radiators and walls
Window cleaning inside and out, plus wiping of window frames, woodwork and blinds
Cleaning of wardrobes, wardrobe fittings and the tops of wardrobes
Wiping of floors, skirting boards and thresholds
Removal of picture hooks, stickers and similar

Kitchen

The same tasks as in the other rooms
Washing of the ceiling (if painted)
Cleaning of the cooker inside and out, plus the floor and walls behind it
Taking down and washing light fittings
Cleaning of the extractor fan and vents inside and out
Defrosting of fridge, cool cabinet and freezer, plus cleaning inside and out
Cleaning of top cupboards and the spaces behind the fridge and freezer

Bathroom and toilet

Cleaning of bathroom cabinets and mirrors
Thorough cleaning of the toilet, washbasin and bath/shower cubicle inside and out
Clearing of floor drains
Cleaning of walls and floors

Laundry room

Cleaning of the washing machine, tumble dryer and drying cabinet, plus clearing of filters
Cleaning of floor drains and vents
Cleaning of storage spaces

Frequently asked questions

Can I get the RUT deduction on move-out cleaning?

Yes. Move-out cleaning qualifies for the RUT deduction, so you only pay half the labour cost. We deduct the amount directly on the invoice.

What happens if the new owner or landlord is not satisfied?

Then we come back and fix whatever was pointed out, completely free of charge. That is our satisfaction guarantee.

Do I need to defrost the fridge and freezer before you arrive?

It helps if the fridge and freezer are emptied and switched off in good time, ideally the day before. Contact us if you have any questions before the cleaning.

How long does move-out cleaning take?

It depends on the size and condition of the home. Contact us and we will give you an estimate and a fixed price.
