This page explains how we collect and use your personal data when you visit our website, contact us or hire us.

Data controller
SPS Städ AB (reg. no. 556896-1485), Ringstedsgatan 67, 164 48 Kista, Sweden, is the controller of your personal data. If you have any questions about how we handle your data, email us at info@spsstad.se.
What data we process and why
When you contact us
When you send an enquiry through the contact form, email or call us, we process the details you give us: your name, email address, phone number and what you write in your message. We use them to reply to you and prepare a quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
When you are a customer
To carry out and invoice the job, we process your name, address, phone number, email address and details about your home or premises. If we need keys, a door code or an alarm code to get in, we keep them only while the job is ongoing. The legal basis is performing our contract with you.
If you use the RUT deduction, we also need your personal identity number and the property designation, or your housing cooperative’s registration number and your flat number, which we pass on to the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket). The legal basis is meeting our legal obligations.
If you are the contact person at a business that is our customer, we process your name, role and contact details, based on our legitimate interest in working with that business.
When you visit the website
We use Umami for visitor statistics. Umami uses no cookies and does not store IP addresses or anything else that could identify you. We only see aggregate statistics, such as which pages are visited, from what kind of device, and how many people click our phone number. We do this based on our legitimate interest in improving the website.
Our hosting provider Netlify records technical details such as IP address and browser in server logs to run the website securely. If you choose dark or light mode, the choice is saved only in your own browser.
Cookies
The website uses no cookies, neither for statistics nor for marketing. That is why we don’t ask you to accept any.
Who has access to the data
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers we need to run the business, who may use it only on our behalf:
- Netlify (hosting and the contact form)
- One.com (email)
- Umami (visitor statistics)
- providers of accounting and invoicing services
For the RUT deduction, we pass the required details to the Swedish Tax Agency. We may also have to disclose data when the law or an authority requires it.
Netlify and Umami are based in the USA. When data is transferred there, it is protected by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep the data
- Enquiries that don’t lead to a job are kept for no more than 12 months.
- Customer details are kept while the job is ongoing and for up to three years afterwards, so that we can handle any complaints.
- Invoices and other accounting records, including details for the RUT deduction, are kept for seven years as required by the Swedish Bookkeeping Act.
- We return keys and delete codes when the job has ended.
Your rights
You have the right to know what data we hold about you and to get a copy of it. You can also ask us to correct inaccurate data, erase data, restrict or object to the processing, and receive data you have given us in a machine-readable format. We may need to keep some data despite a request for erasure, such as accounting records that the law requires us to keep.
Contact us at info@spsstad.se and we will reply within one month. If you think we are handling your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
Changes
We may update this policy when our business or the law changes. The latest version is always on this page.
